The Importance of Giveaways In Listbuilding

For those who’re not aware of how giveaways work, it’s being covered in the tutorials here. So be sure to check them out to gain a better understanding.
But just to give a brief overview of what Giveaways are all about:

  • Basically it works this way. The host of the Give Away event invites JV partners, who are primarily list owners in the same niche, to contribute a gift. The gifts can be any form of digital products: eBooks, reports, audio/video products, membership passes, or software.
  • As a JV partner, you will prepare an opt-in page for visitors to sign up to your mailing list in order to download your gift. Hence, giveaway events are really good list building opportunities as anyone who wants to download your gift must opt into your mailing list first.
  • The host of the event then compiles all the contributed gifts inside the member’s area. This is where the visitors will go to download the gifts of their choice. When they click on a link of a gift, it will bring them to the individual partner’s opt in page.

So the next question is, how will giveaway events benefit you?

Be it you’re a beginner looking for freebies or an established marketer looking to build your list, it will benefit you greatly.

How Is Kanggie Able To Benefit You?

Frankly, this should be the utmost concern of most of our members.

Now, we’ve received a lot of positive comments on how they like the site and how it’s nice and appealing etc… But the ultimate aim of Kanggie is to help our members achieve their internet marketing goals. So what’s most important is for our members to fully utilize what the site has to offer.

So the question remains ‘How is Kanggie Able to Benefit You’?

Let us take a look at the few elements which most internet marketers look for and how Kanggie can help.

1. Exposure & Credibility

Yup, most internet marketers need a lot of exposure and credibility. That’s where Kanggie comes into the picture.

So what should be the first step?

Upload your avatar and write something about yourself!

Putting up an avatar will create the first step towards your exposure and branding. So instead of letting a Kanggie Roo image represent you, upload one which represents you or your business.

Your avatar represents who you are and your profile page is also a representative of your personality and overall credibility of your online business. So be sure to spend some time telling us more about you.

With that being said, if your profile page is simply FILLED with ugly looking banners and countless affiliate links, it basically sums up what kind of marketer are you. Sorry to put it this way, but it simply gives an image of someone that is merely out to benefit from others without adding value in others’ lives.

So please, do not make this HUGE mistake.

You might think by putting up all the banners and links will actually be beneficial. But in my honest opinion, it simply portrays a highly negative image of yourself and turn people away. Of course, it’s alright to put maybe just 2-3 banners to give it a nicer look, but just don’t paste any single banner you can find.

So do spend some time thinking about it on what image you want to portray of yourself!

The next thing is, upload your websites and products if you have any. By doing so will further build credibility and exposure for your business and let others know what you do.

Now, for those who’ve uploaded products and found that they were deleted, please read the rules when you’re submitting them. The marketplace is not meant for people to simply upload an affiliate link or upload a link to their own sales page. It’s meant for people who are looking for genuine buyers for their products (it can be your own product or one that you’ve acquired the rights to) and intend to list it to be sold on the marketplace in Kanggie Dollars. So if you found your products getting deleted, it’s because you’ve flouted one of the above mentioned rules.

Of course, you can always choose to list your product as a giveaway, which can act as an excellent list building tool as well. Giveaway marketing in general will be elaborated in another blog post.

If you would like to watch a video on how to do up your profile to create the maximum exposure, check out this video

2. Relationships

Yes, in an online business, relationships are extremely important. Be it to bounce some ideas or seeking JV partners to either promote your product or to collaborate on a new project, developing good relationships is a must.

Some members have taken it a step further by simply messaging other members with purely an invitation to join another program through their affiliate link.

Some have even attempted to ask us (the owners) to join another rival social networking site. (they obviously did not even bother to look at our profile page).

This, in my opinion, is not the definition of building good relationships.

Think about it, if a stranger were to walk up to you and without first building that trust and attempt to hard sell you something, what would your reaction be?

Now I’m not saying it’s wrong to message members. Frankly, that’s what Kanggie is created for. For members to get to know more people and expand their JV network.

However, simply messaging with an affiliate link is a major turn-off and will simply produce a negative effect. This is only what the spammers will do and it simply doesn’t work (at least in my opinion). Just do it with a little twist and invite people to check out your profile page for instance can be much more appropriate as what some of our members are doing with good results I believe.

But frankly, the best approach will be to genuinely get to know other members on a more personal basis and build a more solid relationship that is based on trust. That, will be the best form of JV partnership you can build which will help in your internet marketing business in the long run. Read the rest of this entry »

Important Updates of The New Referral Contest

There’s one very important point to take note for the current period’s referral contest. Originally, we’ve stated inside our affiliate program FAQ that there was to be a requirement for the minimum amount of referrals made in order to be eligible for the top 4 cash prizes. Even though it was actually stated right before the contest started, we felt we did not highlight it clear enough on the home page. Hence, we’ve decided to abolish the requirement for the first month and still proceed to pay out the cash prizes to our top 4 affiliates.

However, for this current contest period and the subsequent ones, the minimum amount of referrals requirement will be imposed. (note: contest rules are subjected to change for each period but will be announced at the start of each period)

For the period of 16th September to 15th October

(300 referrals min)

$300 Cash Prize

+ Placing in next month’s standings

2nd Position

(150 referrals min)

3rd Position

+ Placing in next month’s standings

4th Position

$50 Cash Prize

5th – 7th Position

(50 referrals min)

2,000 KD each

8th – 10th Position

(50 referrals min)

1,000 KD each

Note: If you’re in the top 4 positions but do not meet the minimum requirement of referrals, you’ll receive the prize equivalent of the requirement which you meet. Eg. If you’re in the 1st position but you only made 150 referrals, you’ll receive the $150 cash prize instead

Another important thing that all members have to take note is you’re NOT allowed to refer yourself or generate fake referrals. Anyone found to be in breach of this rule will have their accounts deleted and banned.

In our previous period, we faced an unfortunate scenario whereby one of our members who was in contention for the top prizes was found guilty of generating fake referrals. IP addresses of your referrals will be tracked in the future and we sincerely hope we do not have to face a similar situation again.

Our one time offer is currently converting at between 2-3% currently and you stand to earn 50% commissions from the $47 OTO and also the $27 downsell.

And remember, you stand to earn 20% lifetime commissions on all your referrals spending on Kanggie Dollars for their entire lifetime.

Note: Commissions will be paid out in KD and it can be cashed out to your Paypal account whenever you accumulate 10,000 KD and above.

So once again, good luck in your promotions and hope you are able to earn massive commissions with Kanggie!

Other members who made referrals during that period:

Coldie, jjarrett, georgesr, MuuvieMaker, bozman1967, daviddubb, learntoprofit, semmyw, linkmerchant, atuyo60, jovimum, thealexangroup

And special thanks to Chris (bozman1967) for welcoming every single member that comes to Kanggie. Lolz! We’re truly amazed at how he is able to keep up with all the new referrals and he’s really putting the owners to shame for not welcoming the members first. Hee! But still, thanks a lot for your hard work and it is greatly appreciated!

Of course, there are many others who’ve made referrals in the past few days and sorry for not mentioning your name here. But, we’ll mention all of you in our next newsletter I promise!

Once again, thanks to all who’ve help promoted! Regardless of how many (or even zero) referrals you’ve made, your help is still much appreciated.

Just a quick update, Kanggie now has slightly more than 700 verified members. And to be frank, the growth rate was extremely slow at the start. But for the past 2 weeks, it’s slowly picking up so thanks for all our members hard work!

Remember, the community is ALL about the members. And when it grows, everyone benefits as we’ll be able to arrange for more special exclusive deals, freebies for everyone and also anything that can help everyone achieve their internet marketing goals!

Firesale Exposed Launch Review!

New Launch Alert: Firesale Exposed

Now some of you might be aware of how Gobala Krishnan, Vince Tan and Melvin Ng made over $69,000 recently with their “Send Us To U.S” firesale. These three Malaysians had over 100 JV partners promote their firesale for them and even had Paypal suspend their account because of the high volume of sales they chalked up within 2 days.

The best thing is, now they are letting you in on their secret tactics on how they manage to achieve such phenomenal success simply by selling a ton of other people’s products through a 7 days firesale!

Do you know what a “firesale” means?

While I’m not of the origin of the word, in the Internet marketing world it means having your own mega blow-out sale where you bundle a dozen or so products for one low price.

Then, you increase the price every day to send your conversions over the roof, since everyone wants to get it before the price increases!

It’s doesn’t matter if you’re totally new - anyone can benefit from this!

I strongly recommend that you get “Firesales Exposed” now:

http://www.kanggieloves.com/firesale.html

Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll be receiving in this awesome package:

1) SendUsToUs Firesale Case Study - A full 80 minutes MP3 interview of the three musketeers spilling the beans on ALL the secrets behind their recent firesale success and what are the mistakes you need to avoid. (transcript included!)

2) A Firesale Masterplan - A complete mind-map of every thing you can possibly think of when doing a firesale. Use this to make sure you get the ‘eagle eye’ overview on how each component of a firesale works with (and against) each other.

3) A 30 Day Blueprint - This is a 30-day plan you can use to see what are the important things you need to do first, second, third and so forth. They’ve arranged in it a carefully crafted sequence so you’ll never feel lost when managing your own firesale.

4) Firesale Checklist - The master items checklist which lists down what are the 26 things you MUST do to have a wildly successful firesale. This will help you keep track of what you’ve done throughout the process of conducting your firesale.

Firesales are not new - and that’s a good thing! A lot of smart marketers have financed anything from a wedding to the purchase of a business, with firesales. It works!

I’ve personally listened through their case study and it has left a big impression on me, as I never though it could be that simple to have your own firesale. In fact I’m considering holding my own firesale soon as their case study simply makes me so much more confident :)

So hurry and gain this unfair advantage in your next firesale!

Warning: The price goes up every few days so you need to act fast!
